 Pastor – Gregg Jennings:

Gregg grew up in the Show-Me State which explains the St. Louis Cardinal support group at Common Ground.  After graduating from Ozark Christian College, Gregg moved to Northern Virginia where he worked for New Life Christian Church for three years before moving to Boston to study theology.  While in New England, Gregg studied at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, earning degrees in Religion and in Global Missions.  He moved back to Virginia in 2009 to become the lead pastor here at Common Ground.  Gregg loves music and movies, a great book and exploring the depths of friendship and worship.

 Connections – Melissa Southall:

Melissa grew up between New York & Virginia. She found Common Ground while attending the University of Mary Washington, where she graduated in 2013 with a degree in Anthropology & Museum Studies. She has a passion for the community and joined the staff at Common Ground in June. She recently married her high school sweetheart, and enjoys few things more than a good cup of coffee and walking her greyhound, Izzy.

Student Ministry – Hans Labor:

Hans grew up in Hamburg, Germany and moved to San Diego before high school. He graduated from Hope International University with a degree in Christian Ministry and has served as Youth Pastor since 1999. Hans loves students and is passionate about training the next generation of kingdom workers. He met his wife through a friend and after their long-distance relationship, Hans moved to Virginia and married his beautiful wife, Jennifer in 2015. Hans and Jen welcomed their first son, Koen, in May 2016. Hans enjoys watching movies, hiking, bike rides, paintball, or any outdoor activities.

Randy Gray – Resident:

Randy was raised all around the US as the oldest child of a military family and has been in Virginia since 2004. He discovered Common Ground as a freshman at the University of Mary Washington in the fall of 2012 through the invitation of his newly acquainted suite mate. He graduated in 2016 with a Major in Philosophy and double minor in Business Spanish and Practical Ethics. Randy was invited by the church to spearhead the new house church movement and he is excited to explore this fun and daunting opportunity.  His free time is usually taken up by any good book, the newest Red Box movie release, road trips with his housemates, or wonderful conversations with friends.
