Palm Sunday Baby Dedication
Join us for a special time to dedicate our little ones within our Church Family! This time will be during our Palm Sunday service.
If you would like to dedicate your child, please sign up here! During registration, you will be asked to provide full name, birth date, photo, and a verse for your child.

Easter Sunday Services
We’d love to have you join us for Easter! We have three options for worship on Sunday morning.
Sunrise Easter service will be at our River Location across from the Woolen Mill on Caroline Street at 6:15am. Please bring a chair to sit in, coffee will be provided!
Easter Service at 8:30am will take place in our Sanctuary, however there will be no CG Kids Classes available at this service. We will have little “busy bags” for our kiddos, but no regularly scheduled class.
We will have our annual Easter Egg Hunt between our 8:30 and 10am services! Meet in front of the Sanctuary with your egg basket at 9:35 for some festive fun!
Easter Service at 10am will take place in our Sanctuary, and CG Kids Classes will be available for Toddlers up through Students.

Shiny Car & Thrift Bazaar
Come get your car washed and shop our multi-table event, with all proceeds going towards sending our team to Bolivia in June! We will be in the parking lot of our church at 1501 Washington Avenue from 8am-2pm with tables selling plants, baked goods, and more!
Women's Spring Retreat
We are thrilled to get away together as the women of Common Ground! Join us for a weekend "glamping" at Love's Way Village in West Virginia! Together we will laugh, share, adventure and rest. We hope you will join us!

Baptism Course
Join us for an in-depth course on the theology, practice, and purpose of baptism. Whether you have been baptized or not, this course is designed for everyone. Together we will look at the baptism of Jesus as well as the Great Commission when Jesus sends his disciples out to teach the Good News, baptizing all who believe. We will discuss New Testament passages from Paul, Peter, and Luke, as well as diving into the practice of the early church and the writings of the Didache.
Our goal is that at the end of this course you would know what the Bible has to say about baptism as well as be prepared to share the good news of Jesus with others.
This course is aimed for adults. Light refreshments will be provided and the course will run about 2 hours. Our hope in this study is to share stories, follow Christ, and train up the body to make disciples. Registration is open!

The American Red Cross is coming! Mark your calendars to come donate life-saving blood on Wednesday, June 1st in the Commons! Stay tuned for a registration link to reserve your spot.
Who We Are Membership Course
Are you new or new(ish) to Common Ground? We would love for you to come hear more about what we believe and Who We Are! This is a mandatory course for anyone wanting to serve our CG Kids area and very informative time for anyone looking to join up with what God is doing here among us.
You can register here and then join us in the Copper Shop from 6-7:30pm on Tuesday Night. Light snacks and drinks will be provided and childcare will be available upon request.

Kids Camp 2025
At True North, kids discover that they can trust Jesus in a wild world! True North is filled with awesome Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, and touch! Hands-on science experiments, team-building games, unforgettable Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. (Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy. Be sure to send them in play clothes and sturdy shoes.) Plus, we’ll help kids discover how
to see evidence of God in everyday life—something we call God Sightings®. Get ready to hear that phrase a lot!
Kids Camp will run from 6-8pm starting Monday, July 14th until Thursday, July 17th at our church at 1501 Washington Ave. Dinner will not be provided, so make sure to eat before you come. We will provide snacks, games, music, teaching and FUN! We hope your child will join us!

We are spending most of our efforts this month getting ready to move into our new home! Starting February 2nd, Common Ground will no longer meet in the Silk Mill. February 2nd we will continue meeting at 10am, but at our new home at 1501 Washington Avenue in downtown Fredericksburg just a few blocks over. New Years Day River Renewal
On January 1st, 2025 we would like to invite you to a polar plunge of sorts but with a different purpose. We will gather at the River for a liturgy of baptismal renewal as we enter the cold waters of a new year to be reminded of our new life in Christ.
We will begin breakfast around the fire starting at 8:00, followed by teaching and finally the plunge.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
Join us for our Christmas Eve service at 6:30pm at the Silk Mill! We will gather as a family to worship and celebrate the coming of our King. We will worship all together, then Toddlers-2nd Grade will be dismissed to their classes while our 3rd graders and older will remain in service. Following the sermon, we will gather once more all together for our candlelight Silent Night tradition.
