What to Expect
Come as you are! All are welcome to join us for a cup of coffee, worship, liturgy and Eucharist. Our worship is a mix of contemporary style with deep roots in liturgy.
-
For many of us liturgical worship is something new and different. In liturgical worship, we recognize that we are taking part in something much bigger than ourselves. We join our voices with all of creation in heaven and on earth, with all the saints, past, present, and future - who are worshiping the victorious Christ who conquered sin and death and we cling to the power of the Gospel each week as we remind ourselves who we are and who God is. At the heart, liturgical worship is all about exalting the Triune God. In a world of noise and allegiances, our liturgy is aiming at the formation of hearts and minds to the likeness of Christ and his redemption.
There are four main parts of our liturgy that tell the story of God love for us:
We Gather In
We Listen to God’s Word
We Come to the Table
We are Sent Out

We have classrooms during service for tots ages 1-2 & toddlers ages 2-3 that are available for the full service. Our classrooms for pre-K/Kindergarten (ages 4-5), 1st-3rd grade & 4th-5th grade dismiss from service with their teachers.
When you arrive, you can check in at the Children’s table to the left. If you have tots or toddlers, you may walk them to their class. If you have PreK or older, your children stay with you until dismissed after Worship.
-
Our 6th-8th grade students have a Youth specific time available during service. All students begin in service and are dismissed with their teachers during service to head to the Copper Shop right outside the Silk Mill.
-
We believe that Christ desires and communes with his people through his sacraments. Each week we celebrate the Eucharist, in which Christ proclaims his redeeming and costly love to his gathered people. If you come to our table seeking Jesus and to commune with him, you are more than welcome to join us. There are stations at the front serving bread, wine, and juice and a gluten-free station in the back with GF bread and juice.
-
Feel free to park in the parking lots on either side of the Silk Mill! Parking is also available on side streets surrounding the building, just be aware of signs with parking restricitons.
-
Come as you are! We are a casual church, feel free to wear a jacket or jeans, whatever fits your style!
-
Enjoy our coffee or bring your own! We have coffee and light refreshments each week to enjoy with one another.
